SNPscience is an independent computational research group based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, publishing research in ancient genomics and offering in-silico analysis services and research materials.

Products sold in the SNP Store are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, not medicines, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. By purchasing you confirm you are qualified to handle research materials and will use them lawfully.

Service projects work on a simple engagement model:

• ✓Every project receives a written, fixed quote before any work begins. No payment is due until you approve the quote.
• ✓Deliverables are as agreed in the quote: typically a written report, results files, and full method logs.
• ✓Our analyses are scientific interpretations of the data you provide. We stand behind our methods and document every step, but results depend on data quality, and scientific conclusions carry inherent uncertainty.
• ✓Analysis results are provided for research and personal-interest purposes. They are not medical advice, and personal ancestry reports are not legal proof of identity, descent, or kinship.
• ✓You must have the legal right to any data you upload for analysis.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used unlawfully or abusively.

Site content, including our published texts, figures, and design, belongs to SNPscience unless stated otherwise. Our open-source tools carry their own licenses on GitHub. Studies we publish may be cited freely with attribution. Your data remains yours: uploading it grants us only the permission needed to perform the work you commissioned.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SNPscience is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, store products, or services. Our total liability for any service project is limited to the amount paid for that project.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes to service terms will not apply retroactively to projects already quoted.
